Hi, I'm Clément 👋

Independent software engineer, server side: architecture, backends, APIs, tooling. Fourteen years of engineering, ten of them independent, with Rust as my language of choice and a strong affinity for email, contacts and calendars.

  • 🦀 Rust: new projects, audits and rescue of existing code
  • 📬 PIM integration (email, contacts, calendars): Gmail, Microsoft 365 and standard servers, with the provider quirks already known

Open source: Pimalaya

Since 2022 I lead Pimalaya, Rust tools for email, contacts and calendars, written from the standards up and funded by the NLnet foundation and the European Commission. Himalaya, its email client for the terminal, is where it all started.


Work together

Remote, from France or Switzerland, in English or French, with a few notions of Russian. Consulting from €800 per day, or a Pimalaya partnership for products and servers built on the stack.
