A minimal audio interface presenting three essays on structural persistence, abstraction, and institutional drift. The project pairs a deliberately austere visual surface with dynamic audio-reactive rendering, emphasizing constraint rather than ornament.
The three included recordings are:
Articulatory Ease in the Arabic Script An examination of motor continuity, discriminability, and structural tradeoffs in writing systems. The essay analyzes how scripts negotiate the tension between articulatory efficiency and perceptual clarity.
Computing Does Not Destroy Difficulty A structural argument that abstraction redistributes rather than eliminates burden. The piece formalizes the conservation and displacement of difficulty across layers of representation.
The Broken Internet An analysis of gradient extraction and platform decay. The essay interprets digital systems as optimization engines whose unconstrained descent produces institutional and epistemic erosion.
